Villa la Pietra Library
Villa la Pietra in Florence, Italy was bequeathed by Sir Harold Acton to New York University in 1994. An ongoing survey of the Actons' library aims to keep a record of the books and their condition, especially those that are of particular interest for researchers and exhibitions. Alongside the survey, minor repairs are undertaken and enclosures are made for particularly vulnerable items.
